Apprenticeship simulation is an affordable way to introduce elements of apprenticeship type of learning in a classroom, be it at a university campus or in online education. Apprenticeship simulation is based on using modern technology to implement a very simple principle of:
substituting a textual description of a business case by a set of multimedia sources

thus creating an environment that represent business reality in a more realistic way.
Problems to solve
- Acquiring tacit knowledge on Ways of Thinking and Practicing
- Difficult to teach/learn outside real practice in the university settings
- Fragmented knowledge in the university programs
An approach to solution
- Use multimedia for augmented presentation of real life organizations in the students projects
- Simulate apprenticeship situation rather than simulating an organization (the former is much more affordable)
- Same case in different courses
